Unit Conversion Overview

Options Panel Description

Decimal Separator:
- Touch the "Decimal Separator" Switch to swap to comma or
dot.
- If dot is selected, the thousand separator will be the comma.
- If comma is selected, the thousand separator will be the dot.
Number Format:
- Touch the "Number Format" Switch to swap to normal fixed
decimal or scientific notation format.
- Numbers with absolute value greater than 9,999,999,999 will
be showed in scientific notation.
- Numbers with absolute value smaller than the current number of decimals
will be showed in scientific notation.
Number of Decimals :
- Touch the left arrow to decrease de number of thecimals showed. The
minimum value is "0".
- Touch the right arrow to increase de number of thecimals showed.
The maximum value is "12".
Conversion Table :
- Touch the "Show Table" button to view a table of the input value
and unit equivalence for all the units in the current category.
User's Units Database Editor :
- Touch the "User Units Set" button to open
the User's database units selection view.

Coversion Table View

The Conversion
Table opens showing in the heading the current input value, input prefix
and unit selected, and a table list of all the posible conversions within
the current category without output prefix.
This table view could be scrolled to any particular
conversion or can be quickly browsed with the index selection at the
right.
Select the output unit touching in the desire conversion
and the table will close getting you back to the converter main screen
with the selected conversion as the current output unit.

User's Database Selection Editor

The User's Database Editor opens
showing a table with all the categories included in the complete database
and a toolbar of buttons at the bottom. Also, below each category the
total number of units and the current number of user selected units (Favorites)
are shown. The categories that has user selected units are showed
in Blue.
This table view could be scrolled to any particular
category to select it and open the User's units selection table.
Toolbar Buttons Actions:
- Reset All : set all the categories and units within each category
to a non selected state (No user units).
- Set All : set all the categories and units within each category
to a selected state (All database set to user units).
- Save : Touching this button saves all the changes to the user
database. The Save
button is showed in Red when you need to save the changes. If you don't
press this button all changes will be lost and not applied in the converter.
- Done : Close the User's database editor view.

The User's units selection table opens showing
all the units included in the selected category and
a toolbar of buttons at the bottom. Also, below each unit is a short
description of it as a reference.
The units currently slected as User's
units are showed in Red with a "heart" symbol at the left.
This table view could be scrolled to any particular
unit. Touchin in any unit to select it toggles the unit state between
user selected or none.
Toolbar Buttons Actions:
- Reset All : set all the units in the current category to a non selected
state (No user units).
- Set All : set all the units in the current category to
a selected state (All set to user units).
- Save : Touching this button saves the changes to the user's database.
The Save button is showed in Red when you need to save the changes.
If you don't press this button all changes will be lost and not applied
in the converter.
- Back : Close the Unit selection and goes back to the Category selection
table.
